STRUEVER BROS. ECCLES & ROUSE
Transforming America's Cities

Providence & Rhode Island

Celebrating the heritage of the Woonasquatucket River mills.

VALLEY NEIGHBORHOOD

Scope of Investment
2.7 million square feet of space, $420M invested in current projects
Pioneering Tenants
Abaqus, a software company, and the Rhode Island Economic Development Corporation are helping bring our new properties to life.

The Valley Neighborhood follows the Woonasquatucket River as it flows through Olneyville and into downtown Providence. The historic mill buildings that line the river provide a vivid illustration of the Woonasquatucket River's significance and heritage.

Our current projects are located minutes from the Providence Place Mall which sits as the western edge of the downtown area. The American Locomotive Works will serve as a catalyst for the further redevelopment of the west side of Providence while creating a link between SBER developments on Valley Street, including Rising Sun Mills and The Plant,to downtown Providence.

SBER IN THE COMMUNITY:

SBER has donated over $100,000 to local organizations which include neighborhood associations, arts organization, schools, parks, and preservation and environmental efforts. For the past three years Struever Bros. Eccles & Rouse organized the James W. Rouse Community service day. During this day dozens of volunteers take to action working in the community on site specific projects, which have included two years at Donigian Park and the William D'Abate Elementary School.
