SBER is working in three neighborhoods in Rhode Island: the Valley, Pawtuxet River Valley, and the Providence Point. In collaboration with local partners, civic government and community groups, SBER has developed a long-term vision for strengthening multiple communities in the state.

SBER's Providence office was established in 2004 in Rising Sun Mills, our first completed project in the River Valley neighborhood. This office currently employs over 40 people including construction and development staff, and manages five hundred million dollars of investment in Rhode Island.

SBER IN THE COMMUNITY:

For the past three years, SBER has contributed to the Rhode Island community by supporting local non-profits, community groups, and neighborhood schools, and by organizing the annual James W. Rouse Community Service Day. Each year, SBER employees, construction sub-contractors, and project partners work together on a number of neighborhood improvement projects. Project sites for the last three years have included Donigian Park and the William D'Abate Elementary School.
