Overlook Clipper Mill is a final component of Strever's Bros.' Clipper Mill redevelopment consisting of 36 duplex units and one custom single family home. The Overlook site is a 3.8-acre parcel located in the southwest corner of Clipper Mill. The site is bounded on the south by Druid Hill Park, on the east by forest preserve, on the north by the Tractor and Stables buildings, and on the west by Parkdale Avenue.
The home designs maximize the park-like setting and wooded views at Clipper Mill. Alexander Design Studio has carefully designed the homes with large windows to capture views and spacious yards that emphasize the inside-outside conncetion designed into the homes. The homes are built "green," meaning they include healthy construction materials, reduced long-term maintenance, and are energy efficient. Residents are Overlook will share the existing amenities at Clipper Mill, including access to the community pool, Woodberry Restaurant, and retail opportunities.
