SBER and its partner H&S Properties are working to develop the Harbor East neighborhood. This grand-scale project is located on the north side of the Baltimore harbor, just east of the Inner Harbor. It extends along the waterfront from Baltimore's Pier Six pavilion east to South Caroline Street.
Development plans include public space and waterfront parks, as well as 650 residential units, four hotels, 10 restaurants, and a Whole Foods market. Retail and restaurant space totals 500,000 sq. ft., and 1 million sq. ft. of office space is planned for tenants including Sylvan Learning Center.
A Four Seasons Hotel and Residences will open in 2010.
