Over the next year, Struever Bros. Eccles & Rouse will provide planning, estimating, scheduling and constructability analysis for phase I of the 40,000 square foot Animal Care Center, which will be relocated from its existing facility in Fells Point. SBER's work will also include pre-construction services for the first phase of the 19 acre site transformation to an Environmental Demonstration Area, a proposed $2 million scope of work that will restore tidal wetland space, site remediation of contaminated soils, and creation of a waterfront promenade along the perimeter of the site. SBER will also participate in the master planning of phase II of the project, which includes a $90 million renovation and expansion of the existing 140,000 square foot former City Vehicle
