Managing construction challenges in real-time.
This project involved the renovations and improvements to an existing office building. The high end finishes provided a real challenge to the coordination and quality assurance efforts. The building was occupied throughout construction, therefore making it necessary to minimize disturbances to the art sales and gallery stores on the first floor. Communication was a large factor in minimizing disturbances with the tenants.
SBER had to keep the lines of communication open with the Casey tenants so that everyone in the construction area was kept abreast to the daily changes that take place in a construction environment. The contractor who did the Millwork in the Casey Foundation Headquarters was awarded a craftsmanship award for the fabrication and installation of the high quality cherry paneling in the lobby area.
