SBER focuses major effort on creating access to construction job opportunities for community residents. Our full-time Community Hiring Coordinator works in partnership with local community groups to recruit, screen and hire area residents from the targeted project neighborhoods.
During its first two years, 315 construction-related positions were filled through SBER's Community Hiring Program. As a result, numerous community residents are established workers in the construction trades.
